The real pressure here seems to be what to list as #1.
- I was born in Houston, Texas
- I grew up in Orange, Texas
- I moved to Austin, Texas in 1992
- I still live here
- I can hyperextend both arms
- My favorite band is Sonic Youth
- I’ve seen them live eight times
- One ear rings when I’m trying to go to sleep
- I have three greyhounds
- I let them sleep with us at night
- I’ve worn glasses since I was six years old
- I’ve never ridden a horse, or been on a horse for that matter
- I hate marshmallows
- I called them “nasty candy” when I was very small
- I actually saw the Grateful Dead at RFK Stadium in 1995
- I’ve only fallen down in public once, at my rehearsal dinner of all places
- I think falling down is really funny
- I broke my wrist in college riding my bike under the influence
- I then went to a party and didn’t have my wrist set until the next day
- To this day my wrist still pops when I move it
- My favorite food is Thai
- My favorite restaurant is Castle Hill Cafe
- I like to cook
- I used to have a 20 pound cat
- I had him since he was a kitten
- He was the first thing I got when I moved into an apartment in 1993
- He was my roommate for the two years I lived alone
- The most interesting place I’ve ever visited is Montreal, Quebec
- I visit New York City more than anywhere else
- If I could go anywhere I would go to Australia or Fiji
- I don’t like to fly
- My favorite movie is Raising Arizona
- My favorite TV show is Lost
- My guilty pleasure is watching true crime on CourtTV
- I’m afraid of heights
- I don’t like spiders very much, either
- I eat organic food
- I drive a hybrid
- I collect clocks
- I have three antique clocks, two of which were built in the 1800s
- My favorite book as a kid was Grover and the Everything in the Whole Wide World Museum
- My first job was spraying shoes at a bowling alley
- Strangely, I don’t bowl
- I have never worked in food service
- I like overcast days
- My favorite day of the week is Thursday
- I like space and astronomy
- I wouldn’t go to the moon if I could
- But I did get up halfway through a production of King Lear at UT to go look through a telescope
- My favorite comic is Peanuts
- My hero is Linus Van Pelt
- My favorite superhero is Batman because he didn’t have any special powers and instead relied on wits and tools to outsmart villains
- I was the editor of my high school yearbook
- I am not a member of any political party
- I don’t go to church, either
- I like minor league baseball
- I’ve only been to the gym three times in my life
- I still pay membership dues every month to the gym down the street
- I’ve never been on a diet
- I love cheese
- I have high cholesterol
- But my good cholesterol is high too
- I’ve never been in a fist fight
- I’ve never met someone I didn’t like
- I can’t hold grudges
- I never stay mad about anything
- I own a hi-fi stereo
- I also own over 1,000 CDs
- Almost half of them are jazz
- I go to Austin City Limits Music Festival every year
- I can’t draw to save my life
- I like Hendrick’s Gin
- I recently built my own bear on a whim
- I own an Ibanez bass guitar
- I can play three songs
- One is Wave of Mutilation by the Pixies
- Another is Psycho Killer by the Talking Heads
- The last one is One of These Days by Pink Floyd
- I was a vegetarian for several years
- I still rarely eat red meat
- I have several animation cels, including one from You’re a Good Sport, Charlie Brown
- My favorite beer is Anchor Steam
- My favorite meal is nachos
- I don’t like it when people assume one world view
- I have really narrow, hard-to-fit feet
- I wear a size 4 ¼ ring on my ring finger

- I like to play video games
- Galactic Civilizations is my favorite
- I’m not even embarrassed about it
- I volunteer every year at a summer camp for kids with cancer
- I’m also on the board
- I can’t stay up late
- I need more than eight hours of sleep every night
- I only get about seven
- I don’t like it when things stay too serious for too long

- My clothes have to be ironed
